ok, here goes..........a very good friend of mine has asked if would look after her dog while they go on holiday.........we have had her before (pre gypsy) so i said bring her over for the day and i will see how gypsy is with her (not the best with another dog in the house) so i said bring her on friday.............then remembered im meant to be taking the kids out with my dad (derrr brain)..........so i phoned her and said can we do monday instead?...........

she said.........No im busy monday, i can be at your house on friday at no earlier than 10am.........thats gives us a hour to see how they are and then i will leave when bill (dad) comes..........im sure he wont mind if you leave a bit later !!!!!

Ok, so here is rant.........she has booked a holiday for next thursday, without even trying to find anyone to look after millie first, she always gets friends to do it !.........she also cant be bothered enough to get up out of her bed early to get to mine earlier.........which really pee's me off, she said theres no way she can get to mine before 10am........WHY NOT !!!!!!!! she has kids that get up really early!!!!

she said she reckons the dogs will get on fine..........and i think she thinks that by getting them together for half an hour (and it will be, cos shes crap at time keeping) is enough to see if gypsy will be ok

her dog is not a lover of other dogs and has never even meet gypo!!!

oh im toooo soft i should have said no straight away..................

she is a good friend i have known her since i was 11, and we get on great, thing is, its her husbands dog really (she doesnt even really like them) and she just didnt give a thought to what she was gonna do with millie, she just thought about herself sat on a beach with a lolly stuck in her gob :- "

we were gonna go to spain for week in august, but all the kennels are full (our fault we left it to late) so quite simply.......we arent going, we are gonna try and get a cheesy caravan for a week and take gypo with us! instead of trying to palm her off with anyone willing to have her!!

[SIZE=21pt]i would explain how you feel to her helen....dont do it if you feel unsure about it...it is gyp's home and if she doesnt take to this other dog being there then you are stuck for 10 days...she shouldnt have booked a holiday without getting the dog sorted first..i know how you feel mate..we have all said we would do things to help people out then regretted it later[/SIZE]
