How has your little boy been today? not too sore I hope...my little girl appears to be much more comfortable so have continued with salt but avoided the vet, she's been desperate to go for a walk today and starving...neither of which she was doing yesterday, so if she's still ok she can have a controlled walk tomorrow

Morning Trollop Chops  :huggles:   :huggles:
morning clair my dear :huggles: :huggles:

You alright Hun?

I don't think Bluebell needs the vet...I'm very loathed to take her for them to just charge me an arm and a leg to tell me what I know...I will closely watch it though and keep the salt water bathing going...she isn't limping this morning...but still touchy about it

hibisrub is good for that clair, hope she gets better soon :*

soak in hibiscrub Deb or just wash...only ever used it as a nurse to and wash before :D love the smell of that stuff

I'm with you there - love that smell. I've used it before for Sweep's feet. He had an infected nailbed once, and I hibiscrubed it, but the very best thing I found was Epsom Salts. Someone I spoke to who had been in racing for years said he swore by the stuff. I put some (tablespoon or so - it cheap as chips) in water as hot as you can stand with you hands, then pop the dogs foot in and swish about, for about 10 mins if you can. Apparently it draws out any nasty stuff, and dries it up. Sweep's toe had previously been difficult to heal, but Epsom salts sorted it in no time

hello juney how are you my dear :huggles: :huggles:
