just had a phonecall..little school is shut..still waiting to hear if the high school is too...the snow has all gone.... we cant open a school...all the teachers got there yesterday and there was more snow on the ground so whats different today then???

snowing again!! its mad here..really coming down heavy...me and the kids are gonna rent a couple of dvd's,get a loads of nibbly bits and snuggle in the lounge all day...cant think of nuffink better to do today :thumbsup:
 
morning just made Adam bacon,egg and black pudding sarnies , got to keep his strength up :-
 
yay...all the snow has just about gone...........................and finally the hoover has def died......it kept coming back to life the damn thing......so robert is taking me to buy a new one :)

 

 

 

sooo cold out there.....even gypsy wanted to come back home after being out for only 15 mins :)

That's because they are prepared for it up there Trac, and don't make a fuss and run around like headless chickens like in the south. We have the majority of schools closed in Herefordshire, and there's really no more than a couple of inches of snow :wacko: Mind you some schools are quite rural. The main roads are clear though, and a lot less traffic which is good. I am hoping they send us home from work early, but the sun has been out, so not looking likely. Steve is home all snug and warm with the dogs - obviously they don't do driving tests in this weather - so he's home for as long as it snows - bring it on!!

bought a dvd player from currys at £99.00 spoke to stormy and he said that i could get it cheaper at tesco.....thought i will take it back to currys even though we were half way watching a movie...shoved it back in the box took it back and was faced with the most jobsworth prat i have ever met...said that she wouldnt give my money back cos i had opened it...i said that was all i had done..it hadnt been used :- .she got on her uppity high horse and asked if i would buy it in this state so i lost it and said all they would have to do is repackage it back up (all the time praying she wouldnt feel it cos it was warm from watching Resident Evil) then she said she would take 10% off :huh: and that was all she was prepared to do....i thought shut yer gob sarah and take it...then off to tescos where i picked one up for 18 smackers!! result!! grrrr..i hate jobsworths dont you???? whats it to them??? she had a microphone headset thingy on too..just to look really important

you should of said it wouldn't play the dvd sarah they don't check, i hate these jobs worth they think they are so up themselves

 

 

sally i have been shopping and banks stuff driving on these ungritted roads round here feel like a sunday driver doing ten miles an hour joke this snow its not as if it wasn't forcasted
