[SIZE=21pt]my two kids were the same ann,they always begged me to stop but i couldnt even attempt to do it the more i thought about it the more i smoked,i always said i could only do it for myself,and i did and its not too bad at first but the craving gets harder or it did for me and to this day god i do fancy one but i darent have one cause i would drop down in a heap gasping and that thought frightens me to death :sweating: [/SIZE]

open in the morning and be reaching for my fags before i even got

out of bed.

My children hated it, my grand-daughter used to say she didnt want

me to die and worst of all i watched my Dad die of lung cancer.......

yet still i puffed away........then one day two years ago i said out of

the blue i was quitting and that was it.

I have had a few on a couple of times when i was under the influence

but have recently tried one when i was sober and OMG i thought i'd

killed myself i hit the floor, my heart was racing and i started sweating

and the taste in my mouth was foul.............im glad i done it though

because even when i drink now i dont have one.

They still smell nice though...........not the smokers they smell really

horrible but i always hover around someone who has a fag on the go :b

So dont bother trying one Trish.........its scarey

i use to reach for my fags as soon as my eyes opened in the morning and it was the last thing i had in bed (dont comment trac)

i was on 35 to 40 a day and smoked for at least 30 years

on quit net it says ive saved £5972 and i would have smoked 26855 fags would love to see the pile they would make.
