Sorry, not many M&J photos in the first set. :- "

We took a little walk along the cliff tops first

Another view of the lighthouse

Then down what seemed like hundreds of steps to the beach (w00t)

Muffin & Jonah - there were rather a lot of students about eating their lunch so we thought it might be wise to leave them on the lead!

The old lighthouse

We finally let Muffin & Jonah off the lead for a bit - straight over to where the teenagers where sat to scavenge for any crumbs. You'd think they never got fed! :- "

Then off to Filey. One of these days we'll manage to visit when the tide is out! Managed to find a bit of beach.

Do you think poor Muffin looks a bit chilly here? Well, there was a slipway leading down to the beach and the tide was almost up to the bottom. To the side there was a deep pool. Perhaps you can guess what happened next! I didn't really see anything but suddenly heard a giant 'splash' and turned round in time to see Muffin dragging himself out of the water. He was obviously trying to avoid getting his feet wet, but either slipped or completely misjudged it and ended up in the middle of the pool. He looked a bit shocked and very embarrassed because everyone laughed at him!! (w00t) and whippets just don't like being laughed at. :huggles: It's one of those times where you just wish you'd had the camera poised, but I'd probably still have missed it! :- " Poor Muffin.

The setting sun was casting a lovely glow on the red rocks.
