Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts. It made me feel so much better when I wrote the letter to her and I shared it because of how much we all share our love for our dogs and my heart was breaking. I do know now that she is resting in peace and playing happily over the bridge and it's lovely to think of her re-united with her old pals.

I miss her. The woods and fields and sofa are not the same without her (despite the other six rumbling about) but I have loads of happy memories and keep remembering funny things from the last 13 years. It was great to know her :huggles: and I owe her a great debt for the joy she brought us. It's just the closing of her chapter that is hard to accept.

Anyway, thanks again for thinking of us :huggles: - it's so nice to know other people understand the saddness. Hugs back for all your doggy friends. :huggles:
