Am sooo excited, after weeks of searching we have finally found our perfect pup!

He is a gorgeous fawn/white parti,

He is only 4 weeks old at the moment so we can`t bring him home yet....Can anyone suggest a good name for him?

Oh he's so cute - Congratulations! Look forward to many more pictures...and probably lots of impatient posts while the next 4 weeks drag by!!!

bryn

 im crap with names

Oh, he is absolutely gorgeous  What about Beau for a name - it means handsome :D

Also ... check out this post where Jimmy Stewart is reading a very moving poem about his much loved dog Beau :'(

my dog Beau

Awwwwwwwww what a sweetie,i,ve got a Beau and its suits him,he was called that before we had him from his lovely breeder

What about Dylan,Marco,Levi,George Danny

He's gorgeous

what are his mum and dad called - you can sometimes create a name by a creative use of their names...

otherwise, I've always liked

Skye

Scout

Kite (or Kyte)

Riot (tho' that's more a terrier name)

Fingal

good luck - hope the four weeks pass fast for you all

I'd thoroughly recommend reading Dr Ian Dunbar's book 'Before and After You Get Your Puppy' - his scheme for the first week to get you through house training and chewing is magnificent - and his outline of the developmental stages and how you can best help your dog to evolve into a sane, safe adult (not that this is often an issue with whippets) is magnificent. And it gives the whole family something to do while you're waiting. Probably the best money spent. Especially given that he advocates *not* getting a food bowl, but feeding from Kongs or as rewards for the first 4 weeks you have the pup.

enjoy!

aawwww what a cutie

looks like a freddy to me

What a handsome lad! He looks like an Arnold to me ... or a Finn, or an Archie ... and I like Dylan and Marco too.

Awww he is lovely

My OH likes Gremlin for a boy pup!! I think it sounds naughty tho!

How about Tiger! Or Rocky!

The wait is not as bad as you think, cant believe I'm saying that!

But we have just less than two weeks to go, when we first visited our pup we had seven weeks to go and thought it would take forever!! But it is going quite quickly!

Have occupied myself by buying lots of stuff for her!

He looks just like my Montee . here he is as a pup

He is a real sweetie. I think a name will just come to you as you get to know him.

I was tempted to call Ben (my blue) Anubis as when he lies down and has his ears up he looks just like a statue I saw in Luxor

hope the time goes quickly for you.
