Was going to pick Kirsty up yesterday, and seen this brute sitting on a post.So of i went to the house for the camera.I knew from past experiences with these things, that you dont get too close before they take flight,so i put on the 70/300 lens for the 1st time, and went to see if he was still there. It was literaly pouring from the Heaven's,and i had to be quick.Shooting hand held, with no IS,this was the best i could get,in such conditions.Although i hate the brutes for the damage they do,to the wild hare population, killing young leveret's,and also rabbits,i have to admire their sheer beauty,as birds of prey.Tomorrow Alannah and myself, are off with my nephew and his son,to look at some marine stuff, and a good variety of birds of prey,so i should have a few pix of them to show on here somewhere. Here is the one in ?I then waited till the rain eventualy cleared, and went looking for him again. This time i got a couple of better shots.Pity they were with a camera mind.
.
As i said.They don't hang around long.One click,and he was off.
