Harewood House Gamefair

Brilliant! We enjoyed the fair last year but it will be even better with coursing, I've never seen coursing 'live' :D I think Molly might bark a lot like she did when we had to escort her away from a gun dog display once cos she got a bit over excited :b

Hello, im really wanting to take my whippet bitch to the lure coarsing but she (and me)has never done it before and what i wanted to ask is will it be ok just to enter and have a go or do i need to be going somewhere first and having a practice?

Neen you would need to get you dog some experiance first as this is a display are you based in the Northwest ?

we are based in the northwest :) , did sort of think i would need some experience but not been sure how to get it! tryed running with a rag on string :p but clearly I dont run fast :p

Neen PM Mark Roberts he is racing manager of The Lancashire PWRC based nr Rochdale he runs trials for pedigree whippets for racing & thats one way of teaching your whippet to chase the lure they are a sound bunch at The Lancashire.
