Had a great walk today! I spent half an hour mole hunting in the field - I could see the mole moving under the soil and it smelt wonderful. I did try and catch it by poking my nose into the soil and pulling out tufts of grass but I couldn't reach it. Mum told me afterwards that I should have tried digging. She could have told me earlier - you'd think she didn't want me to catch it!

Still I met my friends Bear, Bess and Bert a bit further along and for once we were all going in the same direction. Mum let me off my long line and I was able to join the pack :D It was amazeballs (Mum hates it when I say that :p). I had the best time ever!
 
I met Bella today - we had a lovely walk, shared some roast chicken treats and then went back to hers whilst Mum and her friend had a cup of tea ( yuck - horrid stuff)

Best of all Bella is coming round to mine this evening :D

Well enjoy your night Harri with Bella ;) - Olive seems to like decaf tea but its not every dogs taste...
 
Bella is lovely!

She was so nervous last night she was trembling when she arrived. She spent a few minutes on her mum's lap before she was brave enough to get down to explore. Dad made me sit close to him so she could have a look around. We're the first people she's visited since she came to her new home :). Mum says that she's had a scary time over the last few months and that I must show her that there is nothing to be frightened of any more.

Once she came up to me Dad let me go and we had a wonderful play. We raced up and down the sitting room (Mum had to catch her G&T when Bella crashed into the coffee table). We shared a bowl of water together and some chicken treats and I took her outside with her mum to show her my garden.

We got so tired with playing that we crashed out on the floor for a rest.

I saw her again this morning! She is a bit nervous on walks and is scared of gates so I had to show her that walks by the canal are fun and that the gates are not scary at all. She was much happier walking with me :p

I hope we can go for another walk soon :D

No one is happy today and it's all my fault :oops:

Dad took me for a walk this morning so Mum could have a lie in and make me some paw wax. I was very naughty and ran off in the woods. I heard Mum tell him not to let me off the lead but I made those puppy eyes at him and he gave in.

Dad had to ring Mum and tell her that I was lost. She was very very cross with him. I think she still is....

Some nice ladies found me just when I was starting to get scared and rang Mum who came and got me. She was so pleased to see me that she wasn't cross with me at all for running off. ( Note from Mum - I hid it well!)

(And she made me my paw wax :))
 
Oh Harri you little monkey!!

I think your dad probably got the brunt of your mums anger so you better go and apologise to him quick!
 
Horrid horrid horrid thing today!

It started out so well. A trip to my lovely vet for my flea treatment and then a walk to the pet shop where I chose a new pigs ear and a pizzle stick. I wanted to carry the pizzle myself so Mum let me but it did rather get in the way when I was sniffing in the hedgerow so I trusted Mum to look after it until we got back to the car.

I had lunch and settled down for a nice chew when I was put back in the car and taken to the groomer....

She was nice last time when it was just a puppy make over but today I had a full strip. Mum says I look very handsome but I smell weird (Mum says it's sandalwood) and my coat is all short and fluffy after the hair-dryer

I shall have to find something smelly to roll in tomorrow so everything is normal again :p
 
Oh Harri, you look like a fluffy stuffed toy dog ;) I’m sure if you are anything like Misty you will be back to how you like it by tomorrow :)
 
There's a lot of activity this evening... I think Mum and Dad are going out. I do hope they take me with them.

I've been ever so good today. Mum even let me off the lead for a while and I was really really good. well apart from when I saw the rabbit- I've smelled them lots of times and now I know what they look like....

Well I was right - they did go out. But they took me with them and I had a nice evening with Bella.

I have a feeling that Mum's laughing at me again today. She gave me one of those roundish brown things she has for lunch sometimes and let me play with it in the garden.

They are awfully delicate though. I picked it up very gently and sort of tossed it in the air. It hit the ground though and it broke :oops: The insides looked interesting though so I had a little taste. It was yummy and I ate the whole thing :)
 
Oh Harri, you are funny. Looks like you got your way with getting rid of that funny clean smell and tidy hair :D:D:D
