I haven't had a cig since January 2006 before i quit i had smoked regularlly

for 30 years and was on 40 a day for the last 10 of them.

I have never tried to quit before and was really pleased when i managed it.

But...............the last couple of weeks its all i think about again.........what's going on,

why would i start this constant craving again after all this time..........i really don't

want to cave in and have one............any ideas :(

Are you craving them cos of all the media hyp about smoking ban? Take Sada a walk everytime you crave one - one tired dog, one tired owner, no need for fag!

If you've got stuff going on in your life at the monent, it could be your brain remembering how you used to cope and thinking I need that again.

Try and keep yourself busy. :thumbsup:

You need that puppy now Ann.....that will keep you busy... :lol: :blink: :cheers:

Ann, I gave up 17 years ago after my Dad died of Cancer and 'occasionally' still fancy a cigarette, especially when I'm a little fed up and a drink in my hand !!

It's only been 18 months so far, so for sure you'll get the cravings.... they get less frequent though, honestly.

Being such a heavy smoker you've done brilliantly and are a strong enough person to cope with a few cravings.

Get round and see your new pup 'Kaya' and get some more pics on here.

Have a look at these links, or have a search for others, and print out the ones that have most effect on you. Have a look at them every time you feel like a cigy;
