hi janis ,did they say what caused it ,im at a loss as to whats happened as she not been out only once last week cause shes been in season and she was fine last night and just like this ,this morning ,i duno what shes done

When the vet saw Chip they thought he had pulled something in his neck area ...he used to winch when he got up and down....it did go away eventually...he was a lot older than Tia though...but suppose it can happen whatever their age..

Shes probably been tearing round with the others and gone head over heels...

Hope shes ok soon Nicky. :huggles:

shes maybe been lying in a funny position??

i know i can wake up in the morning and cant turn my head in one direction, and its the muscle went all stiff from lying a certin way, could be a similar thing.

reall hope shes feeling better soon :huggles: :huggles: :huggles:

woody has an intermittent problem with muscle adhesions in his neck.

he used to wake up in the night and start circling because the neck muscles pull his head round one way and he can only turn in painful little circles.

we give him tablets or metacam occasionally but i massage his neck every day and he hasn't had it happen for over a year now.

it used to be extremely painful and he would wimper and sometimes scream..the muscles on one side of his neck would also be rock hard.

Thats exactly how I would describe what Chip did too...the turning in circles...and the massaging really did help.

Hope Tia is feeling better soon. :huggles:

Similar thing happened to Harry, he was very quiet and cried out when ever he tried to shake himself. Vet said it was prob an old injury from before we had him. It was his back, he had tablets for over a week and had to have complete rest and not go on the sofa and no up stairs (he didnt like this one bit) .

He got better but needs to be carefull as the problem may come back. Just like us humans once we suffer a bad back it does tend to come back every now and then.

Hope all goes well for you both and try not to worry :huggles:

awww Nicky - hope your little lady is better soon hun :huggles: :huggles: :huggles: :huggles:

:huggles: to Princess Tia. Hope she's feeling better in the morning.

As for how she did it  Star managed to almost dislocate her retina by jumping off the sofa (w00t) they are nutters.

Awww....poor Tia. That sounds really awful. :( I hope the vet gets to the bottom of it and she's back to her usual self soon.
