this used to happen quite often tomy old lad Chip...he used to cry out too...anyway I used to massage him ...as the vet said this would help too... he also was given pain killer and muscle relaxants....

we give him tablets or metacam occasionally but i massage his neck every day and he hasn't had it happen for over a year now.
it used to be extremely painful and he would wimper and sometimes scream..the muscles on one side of his neck would also be rock hard.
Nicky you are so lovely with your dogs and just love them so much that you would take her in the vets in a buggy whatever anyone thought seeing you pushing a dog in a buggy it's so sweet.
