Thanks everyone, he's fine :sweating:   been on pins all morning but they rang and said not only is he doing fine but he is lovely :wub:   :wub: I can pick him up at half 3 :thumbsup:
Vets says he will be ok to go on holiday Rae :sweating:   and that we can take the stitches out ourself   

I think the vet wanted sedation because the outer ring had dried with the weather being so hot so he could have a good look to make sure nothing was under the skin too Dessie I dont like sedation either has me a nervous wreck everytime but he's ok now so I'm happy :huggles:

glad he can still make his holiday.

Star got a stick injury before we went on holiday 2 years ago and Gary had to take the stitches out while we were there :x She then managed to cut her ear on barbed wire while we were there :wacko: It was like a horror movie scene (w00t)

I'm sure Kane will get lots of fusses from the pub next door and can show off his scar 8)

Im glad we didn't have to cancel too Rae I have been looking forward to it for ages.

he is home now and feeling VERY sorry for himself i've never known him to turn his nose up at food but he did anyway he gave in to a crab stick

He has 4 stictches and a big bald patch but at least he's home :huggles:

He's fine today Julie thanks, pretty much back to normal, it was awful yesterday he was so quiet and sorrowful,although he doesn't seem to feel pain very much he's a right softie for cuddles when he's drowsy like he was yesterday, now I'm trying to keep him calm and not running about too much (w00t) so he's back to his old self and luckily Spry hasn't licked his stitches to death she's terrible for washing the others :huggles:
