Hi folks, been a member for a while but not posted much to date. Been involved with greyhounds for several years but adopted my first whippet last year. She was 15 years old when we adopted her and sadly we only had the pleasure of her company for 5 months but I was adamant that one day I would have another whippet as I totally fell in love with the breed. In August Penny came into the rescue at 5 months old and despite my protestations that I did not do puppies Penny moved in as a foster. Needless to say within a very few weeks she was destined to stay and I had my dream fulfilled of a permanent wippet. I confess that after docile greys she seems a lot of work but I am the first to admit that she is worth every minute of it and I am delighted at her progress.

So please welcome Penny Whippet and I hope you will all help me with any problems we may have.
