Technology is revolutionizing how we care for our pets, especially our beloved dogs. From wearable health trackers to mobile apps and AI-powered tools, there are endless ways to enhance your dog's health and well-being.

At Celeritas Digital, we specialize in creating custom solutions for the animal health industry, including mobile apps and telehealth platforms. These tools not only make it easier to track your dog's health but also connect you with veterinarians for quick advice and care.

What technology do you use to care for your dog? Have you tried any apps or tools that made a difference? Let’s discuss the impact of technology on dog care!

Honestly, this just sounds like a solution that's looking for a problem.

I don't need technology - I interact with my dog, I observe him, touch him, listen to him. His appointments are in a diary - I neither need nor want a separate one as that increases the risk of double booking with my hairdresser or dentist; and the phone numbers for his vet and groome are in my phone for the same reasons.

I agree - there is no technology within the dog/human interface that can come anywhere near the mark 1 eyeball and the sense of touch. Not to mention the "something isn't quite right" perception.

Yep, I agree... sadly I think many, many people are definitely over teched! (Don't think that's a word:rolleyes:) and I also think some dog owners don't need yet another reason to have their concentration phone-ward instead of dog-ward. (more made up words, I know!😂)

Maybe it's going the same way as apps for babies. With her first my daughter in law used an app to monitor all her baby's feeds - she had to consult it to check which boob to put her on 🤣 (I believe an app played a role in her conception too...) You won't be surprised she didn't bother with all that malarkey with the second.

They even had an app at one point to schedule their housework, and who needed to clean what when. When no.2 came long they didn't need it any more - they just don't to housework!

Do you remember when Filofax arrived? What a money spinner! My company spent a fortune on sending us on courses to go with the kit (and the kit wasn’t cheap). What did Filofax achieve? Not a rhetorical question. I’m open to answers but personally I can organise myself.

PS. We’re watching Pete Wickes. There are some lovely people out there, nicht wahr?

I've been watching that too, heartbreaking... good that some of these issues are still being put out there. I still wish the government would just ban making making profit from breeding altogether, (sales to cover reasonable costs only),then maybe a lot of people would not be so inclined to do it!
