You know how some folks buy their dogs lots of collars or coats etc? Well my hubby Neil seems to have this 'thing' about buying Tina beds!!! (w00t)

He finished nightshift and popped along to the pet stall in the Alnwick Market Place and came home with these three beds.....for £10 :lol:

We were mulling over the idea of buying a two-seater settee to go in front of the window but we don't need to now....we have a wall of dog beds!!!

The BIG temptation now is to add another whippie or an ex-racer :- "

The sooner I get her little problem with recall ironed out the sooner I'll be on the hunt for another whippie :wub:

We are going to ring up the lady who runs our local dog training club on Monday and see if we can bring Tina along I think it'll do her good to be at the club surrounded by other dogs and might just calm her down in their company......though, to be perfectly honest, she's really come on in leaps and bounds with her training this past week :huggles:

I love my whippie :wub: :wub: :wub: She's Mummy's Little Angel and I want more!!!! :lol:

Awww, Tina's lovely. :wub: But she definitely looks lonely on that bed all by herself - she could so easily have spread herself out but she's left loads of room for another whippet!

:lol: Neil and I both love cats as much as dogs and Neil just seems to have bought me loads of cat ornaments over the years I'll have to see about a few whippet/greyhound ones now that we have our dog :thumbsup:

When we took her up to Musselburgh two weeks ago to have her ear tattooed the guy who did it had been in German Shepherds for over 35 years and every room was packed full of ornaments, photos, prints - everything GSD

Before we got Tina it was a toss-up between a Whippet or a Border Collie as to which breed we went for. I love training and knew a collie would give me that instant obedience but I also knew that Whippets would suit our lifestyle more as regards exercise (happy with long or short walks), relatively quiet (Tina's only barked four times since we got her....usually because I'm playing with her :b ) and they're a nice sized dog. We wanted a dog we could take anywhere and on caravan holidays with us too and I'm planning a break in late September

Now that I've had Tina three weeks she has become part of our family and neither of us can see life without her in our lives :b This week especially we feel that we've really bonded and her training has come on in leaps and bounds too - she's just a fabulous dog and we are SO incredibly lucky to have her :wub: And now I honestly can't see me even LOOKING at another breed!!! :b Well, possibly an ex-racer greyhound and, when we get older, Italian Greyhounds too :lol: But other breeds? Pah, they're just dogs :- "

Ideally I'd like a house with a garden so I could have my one/two rescued cats and two/three whippets :b

I have found my whippets gpo 2 to a bed as they like to snuggle but my ex racing greyhounds do one to a bed so you could have room for 2 whippets and 2 greyounds or 6 whippets there no problem :lol:
