Check out this link Canine Hydrotherapy Assoc as I think for most insurance companies they need to be registered with this association.

The centre my Peggy-Sue has been attending is excellent, but a bit far from you in Dorset/Somerset border!

My girls all go the the pool in East Challow once a week.
Vale Hydrotherapy

P-S finishes her rehab course in a couple of weeks. I am going to continue swimming her weekly or every other week as her leg improved so much and just want to keep it up. Can I ask how much you pay per session? just to compare..

I pay for the four of them in blocks of 10 swims each and that comes to around 300 pounds. They swim in pairs.

Thanks Olivia :D

Mine is £16 each if I pay in blocks of :D 10, or £18 each if I pay individually

I've looked at this link, and it comes with a heater, filter and the pump to supply jet currents. You get a cover as well, and delivered to your door for £1495.

I think I can honestly say that if I had a spare 1500 quid I'd buy one tomorrow. I'm really impressed, and like the fact that you can move up to the medium model for only £200.

I need to win the lottery (w00t)

p.s. If someone can find the catch for me, I'd be very grateful, as right now I'm slightly depressed I don't have one lol!

Ahh tell I didn't read it properly! :b

I still think though for proper rehab from injuries you need a professional to ensure they get the best out of each session - as with PS swimming a certain way didn't get the best use out if her leg, but doing it another way relaly made her work in her sessions.

But for your general fitness (and if I had the room and money) I'd get one too!! I'd really love to take my boys swimming but just a bit pricey for all 3

Sorry Jo, I didn't mean for injuries, I just meant for swimming mine generally too :b

Mind you, I suppose if I won the lottery, then I probably not mind the extortionate amount of money it would cost to swin four a couple of times a week (w00t)

Oo gosh well found Masta, I think I'll start saving, that would definately be cheaper in the long run and they could swim much more often.

Thanks guys ...i better start saving

The vet suggested to take Peggy 2/3 times a week to help build her up

Shes doing really well, no jumping or going down/up steps/stairs back to the vets 2 weeks time

May see you there (challow) olivia sometime

I'm so glad to hear she's improved so much, it was so good to see her starting to walk last week, and very encouraging to hear Bartholomew thinks she's doing very well too. Look forward to seeing a big difference next time, I'm sure the swimming will help her start to build some strength and help her regain further mobility :luck:
