Went for an interview for a job today :b I felt very nervous cos I was in my last job for 10 years and nearly chickened out - but off I went When I got there the lady told me to "come up" on the intercom system, I needed the 7th floor so went to the lift ................and yes!................youve guessed it! ..................the bloody lift was out of order!!!!!

:lol: You should have seen the state of me by the time I got to the 7th floor :lol: then she sat me next to the bloomin red hot radiator for the whole interview :sweating: by the end, my face was as red as a smacked bottom :lol: Dont know if Ive got the job yet - but if I do I hope they fix the lift, Ive got to go back on wednesday for a second interview

:b Thought Id update you all on the job hunting front. :sweating: Didnt get the job on the 7th floor, it was for Relate (you know marriage guidance etc) my husband was dissapointed cos he was hoping for staff discount! (w00t) but I did go for one at a doctors surgery as receptionist - and got it only thing is I start on the 2nd march and I didnt have the nerve to ask for the 5th off so I could go to Crufts :lol: so I cant go this year (gutted) especially as it wont be on t.v. Hope there are going to be some roving reporters from K9 there to report everything back. :thumbsup:

Congrats on getting the job,

had a simlar experience going for my second interview, with the same panel (first one went really well with me scoring highest mark for interview) and the second interview my nerves got me and i lost my voice

but have since been for an NHS interview and scored top again.. and i share the same start date as you
