Hello everyone

Ive been visiting this forum for a while, but i have not had the time to fathom out how to upload photos. So after lots of trying i've been successful!

So i would like to introduce my sweeheart whippet Louie. He's 7 & half months old, & a real treasure. Louie is my first whippet, & im still learning. He is fully part of my family, which includes hubby, my 3yr old daughter & 2 yr old cat.

I cant believe our lucky i am to have such a lovely natured dog, who has brought lots of happiness to us all.

My pleasure, here is Molly. She is the boss between to the two. Im still waiting for the pair to cuddle up on the sofa together. But to my delight, ive noticed Molly looking at Louie lovingly lately, maybe because he is calming down a bit, so not as annoying to a feline. The joys!

Thanks everyone for making me feel welcome. Im so pleased everybody likes Louie, im so proud of him. Its funny, mostly all the people i meet when i take Louie out for walks/runs, thinks he is a girl. Im always having to say awkwardly "well HE is called Louie". It makes me laugh now, because im surprised when someone thinks he is a boy straight away, not looking in the right direction obviously! Think it must be because of his prettiness. Does anyone else get that?, because whippets are so pretty (the boys & girls - if that makes sense!)

Yes, I get that all the time with Zulu who is small and fine boned. People come up and say, "isn't she beautiful" or "what a sweet little thing she is" and we always have to say, it's a dog and they look astounded. :lol:
