Introducing Our New Beagle Puppy James Xx

thanks guys, can't wait to get him.

Am a bit worried about his name though as over half the friends I have told don't like it :( and even though I had reservations at first I thought it was quite a sweet name for a beagle even though I don't usually like proper human names for pets... I really wanted it mostly to pay tribute to my parents but just not sure now......what do you guys think?

I think its a great name for a Beagle, they have that turned up snobby nose which suits an aristocratic name like James...he's your baby, call him what you want :D

Was hoping there were more pictures then when I saw you'd posted...I've worn these ones out :b

only other pic I have at the moment.

being that cute shouldn't be allowed. He does look like a james but coming from Cornwall you could call him Denzel, mmm james or denzil, james denzil - James it is then lol congratulations.

James is BEAUTIFUL!! so squidgy and so snuggly looking. And he has a lovely name; I like James. But do you think he'll get called "Jamie" when you're calling him back on a walk?

He's lovely.

no no no no no just James   although my husband has once referred to him as jimbob, this however will not happen again on pain of death

it has to be James and nothing else I'm afraid :b :p

Well, for what my two-pennorth's worth, I like the name "James".

And beagles look very Serious and Grown-Up so he deserves a Serious and Grown-Up name!

When do you bring him home?

And what will Moonpig make of him, I wonder ... in fact, not to hijack James's thread, but how is Zoe?

^^ Oooops - just gone back to the start of the thread and seen that you collect him next Monday. So exciting!

Moonpig is fine although night before last she went on another wrecking spree and spent yesterday vomitting up the things she had wrecked... took me a while to identify some of the regurgitated items and locate the remains of them about the house.

She will probably be evil to James but she'll learn, it's my way or no way lol...but she's pretty good apart from a minor concern about her spine and the spondylosis at the moment but nothing too serious... she is as ever the evil monkey bitch

James is adorable  I think the name really suits him ... not long to wait now :D

you lucky lucky lady james is just so adorable may you both have many happy years together and make sure you update us with pics x

when I get James i'll start a thread in other breeds section for my multitude of pictures xx

Can't wait for the new thread :D

And no you're not at all sad!!!

Just to let you all know The Beagle has landed but we've all had a traumatic day...........got puncture on way home on M25, spare had dodgy valve, had to wait for AA which took one and half hours....they had to glue round valve on spare and escort us onto A21 to check it and add more air etc.

while waiting for AA to arrive initially it was very windy, raining etc...Traffic Police stopped and gave us space blankets, so their I stood with puppy in arms wrapped up like some flaming giant foil wrapped sweet while all and sundry gawped as they sped by!! puppy was cold and very upset, I was cold and stressed..........

a journey home which should have taken an hour and a half actually took 4 and a half hours.......forgive me for not starting a thread in other breeds just yet as I haven't taken any pictures yet and little James is fast asleep in my arms just now xxxxxxxxxx

will take pics and post tomorrow xx

ps James has good lungs and I'll need tolerant neighbours lol
