They arrived yesterday on August 26, 2008 and they started coming in the evening. She had all 8 in about 3 hours and mom and pups are doing absolutley wonderful. You can watch them on the web cam at www.live.yahoo.com/ShannonDown

They are all doing great, the website and blog will be updated very soon with pictures too and the web cam is on. It stays on until I go to bed at night and then I turn it back on in the morning - you'll be able to watch them for several weeks

Thanks to everyone that tuned in last night, I know it was much later for a lot of you, but it was great having you there!

they are all gorgeous, are you going to have a guess at whos who, and to see who close you get?

it seems to be a 4 and 4 split colour wise to me,but the colours could have came from mum so thats probabily not the best way to guess :- "

Well - from Quincy's first litter and seeing kids from Brooks other litters... my guess is #3 and #8 are Brooks kids, #1 and #7 could be either (my guess though is that they are Brooks) and the rest are from Quincy - but we'll see what DNA says in a few weeks I'd like to see how close I come to my guesses - LOL It would be AWESOME if they were split 50/50 - 4 from both boys That would mean our technique worked!!! LOL

Id say 1.2.3 and 8 from 1 dad and the rest from the other . very nice markings on all though :wub:

My preliminary bet (I do hope we are allowed more ) is;

Quincy

girl 2

Boy 5

Girl 6

Boy 7

That is judging by the amount of white. The parti boy should be able to only produce parti pups, or pups with Dido's amount of white. Quincy can produce the white marking like himself or whatever other gene he carries. So the heavily coloured pups should not be by Brooks, but as i said that "S" locus is tricky I have seen pups with white markings that should not have been possible from that mating, the paternity was absolutely guaranteed, no other dog around.
