We have a 80gig ipod and its fantastic

I loaded our whole cd collection on to it and we plug it into the stereo(never have to get up to change a cd)and weve got a car stereo it plugs into FANTASTIC

My son got a nano for Birthday and he was able to take what songs he wanted from our collection and buys single songs as he wants them so easy with itunes

We also both have docking stations that are alarm clocks

So we couldnt be without them now!!!

I'm glad you started this thread Fiona.

I often wish someone would write an "Idiot's Guide" to these things - that way, I might just be able to understand what they are and what they do

Well, I mean obviously I've heard of them but I have no idea of what each make/model does, that's different to each other. etc etc etd ...

Probably somewhere on the Internet there already is an "Idiot's Guide" ... maybe I ought to go looking.

Im lucky to have 2 teenagers in the house, they keep me right up to speed with the latest technology...

We have 2 Ipods here and 2 MP3 players.. I prefer the Ipods.

At the tender age of 33 I've accepted I'm an 'old' person - every time we go to see a band I feel like a fossil  I've got a creative Stone and OH has a creative Zen - both very pleased with them. We've copied our CD's, havent downloaded anything, both easy to use.
