what bad news , Poor jack :(

what are the vets planning to do , cant they refer you to a specialist like they did with Woody and Buffee ?

So sorry to hear he is still poorly, I totally understand how you feel and what you are going through as you have seen on my thread about my little Solly. Can you not be referred to a specialist?? I must say I was so impressed ith the specialist at the Davies Veterinary Clinic in Hertfordshire. I did have to push to get him there as my vets did not seem to be in too much of a hurry to refer him on. What exactly has he done?? Poor little thing, it is so horrible to see them looking unwell. Chin up and keep positive, someone must be able to do something for you. Fingers crossed, huge amounts of :luck: :luck: and loads of :huggles: :huggles: for you all.

:huggles: hows he doing today dawn ,lots of :huggles:from tia and me to her daddy :huggles:

:luck: to Jack .

Hows he doing Dawn, how did he do it ?

Thankyou everybody for your kind words and messages :huggles: :huggles:

He had a bit of tea last night, which is something :D

What happened was,he decided to bonk our neutered male on the last day of being in kennels, how all this happened i do not know. The kennels took him to their vet, they gave him painkillers and they said it looked like he sprained himself and should be ok,but unforntunate he done more damage to himself then we thought. .The kennels put him in a separate kennel until we collected him.

The vet is hoping it will repaired itself,he going back on Thursday night to see how he is doing.

Poor Jack, I'm sorry to hear about his injury but you sound like you have given up on him already Dawn. Come on, you have got to think positive for his sake.

If you are not happy with what your Vets report, ask for a referral to a specialist. There have been quite a lot of Whippets with back injuries just recently that are all on the mend now. Remember, PMA (positive mental attitude) :huggles:

:luck: wishing Jack a speedy recovery.

Good luck Jack and Dawn..... :luck: :luck: :huggles:

 Sorry to hear about poor Jack :( ....Hopefully :luck: he'll make a speedy recovery and be back on his feet soon

Keep us all up to date with his progress. All the best :luck: :luck: for Thursday

Tracy (& Beau !!)

Sending lots of :luck: :luck: :luck: for a speedy recovery.

:huggles:

So sorry to hear this news Dawn and I know exactly how you're feeling going through something very similar myself with Layla at present. She is walking again (albeit sideways) but they say recovery is long time and in baby steps.

Keep your chin up to get him through the worst of it, I know it's hard to be positive and easy to worry about the worst case scenario but keep your fingers crossed.

My thoughts are with you all.

hope jacks feeling a little better today :huggles: ,ive been thinking lots about you all :huggles:

Hope Jack is on the mend :luck: and you are ok too :huggles:
