Last Autum Josie qualified for the NLRC lure coursing championship. This was held yesterday and I am very proud that Josie was second. She was also by far the smallest lurcher qualified. She was beaten by her fantastic half brother, who is also a rescue from Sheya.

Here she is with her trophies the little one and red rosette for qualifying and the bigger ones for Reserve Champion of Champions.

Wow! You must be so proud to see your hard work and patience with Josie paying off, Olivia. She is such a beautiful dog - fancy having looks and talent! Well done.

She's a beauty. Well done to both of you!

It was a really well run day. The racing was first class and the final was so close that I didn't envy the judge who had to make the decision.

Well done to all four finalists. Nice photos as well. David Matthews

Did you have a dog running on Sun? If you did let me know, I may have a photo of your dog.

Very well done!! Josie is lovely, just my sort of dog, I just love rough scruffy lurchers  All my 3 are rescues & I say it was the loss of the  who let them go (2 of them out on the street at 3 months & 1 shut in a shed at 7 weeks) & definately my gain
