weather not great but it did,nt seem to matter hope we made loads of money for the whippet rescue

see you all next week :)

What a lovely day we all had, all that was missing was the sunshine - and now we know Trac took it to Wales  Thanks to Lesley and Mark and team for putting on a great open which must benefit the Whippet Rescue enormously each year. We particularly liked the prizes this year, the clocks were lovely (we didn't get one :( ) and the lovely mugs with dog treats were great. I love winning something useful, and something nice for the dogs who try so hard for us. Of course some families had a full set :- :- Vince and Julia, Mick and Angie :- :-

Some of the youngsters really impressed people today, and they can only improve with age. Well done to Mark and Lesley with Sasha (Summa Breeze) she is running so well for you. We are thrilled for Julie and the Peppermints with Maddie's second win in succession, she is flying at the moment - as are the other finalists with her today, it was a brilliant race to watch and line judge. Devil's Double is in fine form again, he took the final by a few lengths from Talk of the Devil who had beaten him in the semi. Bin Throu't Mill flew the flag today for the Heatons - well done. Whe-hey, well done to Pat (Bluenoise) (or Mrs Noisy as Steve calls her  ) Mr Noisy ran out of his skin today - so pleased for you. Evansent ran well again for the Foster family, and Alchemist came home the winner in the big boys final for Alan and Barbara (Beejay)

Congratulations veteran winners Close to Crazy, Wilsden Jimmy Mack, and Gingeroo - its always good to see the older dogs still so fit and running brilliantly, they are a credit to their owners

It seems there were quite a few camping over, and reports of the evening prior to racing were good. I hope you all enjoyed your meal in the pub after racing, and that you don't wake up with hangovers tomorrow morning :teehee:

Thanks to the organisers for a very enjoyable days racing. There were some 'HELPPPP' just sooo close races for us to line judge. :sweating: As usual my boys ran their hearts out and gave everything.

Congratulations to the winners and finalists and I thank all the dogs for providing such good entertainment and sport. BTW great win Julie. Over the past few years the heavyweight racing has been such a crack at the end as we all take the michael out of each other and the level of sportsmanship is always so high. It was great to be back.

Looks like you all had a fantastic day :D Congratulations to all the dogs who took part in this open for such a worthy cause

But I just have to say WOW GO FOREST GO ( MASTER OF LIGHT) So pleased for Cheryl & Gary, told you he was a winner after watching him run circles around his mother the day he was born  (w00t)

Congratulations to Karen & Keith with Trick or Treat & close to Crazy, you must be over the moon  Can't wait to see all the girls next week!

We also would like to thank everyone for a lovely days racing, and to all those that worked so hard to make the day the great success it was, And most importantly raising much needed money for the whippet rescue. Well done to all the dogs taking part yesterday and contributing to the fund.

So till next week see you all at the champs. when we start all over again
