I know everyone knows to check on oldre people in there homes in the winter but after having my first trip out cos of this bloody weather and seeing so many oldre people struggling and slipping please please please if you know any active older person that normily would be out and about ask them not to the footpaths even in town centers in most arieas are like ice rinks. one slip and there hips could break and there active life caput so for the time being ask them nag at them anything but do anything to stop them walking about in the snow and ice. It was frightning watching them today. espeacily one old dear there in her tweed skirt tights and sencible granny shoes she most have been frezzing but thoughs sensible granny shoes were like waliking on grease. If you can offer lift to supper markets anything. I can see the hopital full of fractured hips and wrist and as we get oldre we dont bounce so goos anymore

sorry for the lecture

:)

i phoned my mum earlier (she's 75) just to check she was ok & she said that this morning a lady knocked on her door just to ask did she need anything from the shops. The lady lives at the other end of my mums road & has said hello a few times but mum doesn't even know her name so thought it was really nice of her to stop & ask. :)

You should see the state of my poor mum.

She had a fall on Sunday, smashed into her metal gate

face first......she looks like she's been in a car crash :(
