KICK BOARDS GIVE 2/3 YARDS OUT OF THE BOXS.BUT IF YOU BANNED THEM THINK THE BENDS WOULD HAVE TO USE WHIPPET TRAPS AS THE GREYHOUND TRAPS WOULD BE FAR TO BIG.

PITY SOMEONE HASNT MADE A TRAP WITH A PERSPEX SIDE SO WE COULD SEE WHAT THEY DO, EVEN FILM IT.WITH AND WITHOUT A BOARD.WILL LOOK INTO IT SEE IF I CAN GET SOME RESULTS ON HERE,SOMIT TO DO WHEN YOUVE GOT NOWT TO RUN

GREYHOUND DONT USE THEM AND THEY GET OUT,WONDER IF THEY GET MANY WHIP MUSCLE INJURYS??????
Don't know about greyhounds but when this about kickboards cone out a few years back I tried my 16lber on the bends without a board and it never ran again after ripping the ligaments in her stomach and back. If kick boards were banned I certainly wouldn't run any of mine at the bends again.

Firstly sorry for your little dog, but how do you know the injury would not still have happened if a kickboard was used. I've seen dogs come out of the traps in the most awkward of positions with or without kickboards. I have raced with and without boards and personally don't mind either way whether they are used or not. They are time consuming, and i have to say i do question some of the sizes and angles used by some but everyone to their own :)

BAN THEM THEN SAME FOR EVERYONE

if you dont want to use a kickboard dont, or try greyhound racing ;) ;)

if top greyhound trainers dont use them, and the ngrc dont think that they would be of any benefit to the greyhounds in terms of reducing injurys, then why do we use them for our dogs to race off...
