Hi everyone. Here are some more pictures of Lexi. She is now 11 weeks old.

A huge thank you to Alfyn for Lexi's new bed. As you can see from the photos she loves it.

This forum is great I have learnt so much and love seeing all the pictures that you post.

Lexi is our first Whippet although we did already have another dog but I can already see why you all say one is never enough.

Lexi's is gorgeous!

My whippets have a snuggle bed from Alfyn, it is the best thing i have ever bought them, once they are in it they just dont want to come out!

What lovely pictures  (and I quite fancy one of those beds for my lot too  )

What a pretty little girl your Lexi is   she look very comfy in her new bed

Aww Lexi is very cute :*

Be careful though as you are not allowed to post about items you have bought from K9 members anymore :b all very strange, but I am sure a moderator will let you know the new rules

The rule is:

Advertising of goods or services on K9 Community is permissible only in 'The Market Place' forum. You must not promote goods or services anywhere else on K9 Community in a deliberate attempt (or apparently deliberate attempt) to avoid a proper advertisement being placed in 'The Market Place'. Such posts will be removed or edited and the poster contacted advising them of the problem.

So the post looks fine to me...

Right then, I'll post again in the future when I have purchased something from a fellow K9'er

OH!! Lexi too cute for words :)) she looks so cosy in there!!! like a little princess :))

What a beautiful baby!!! She reminds me of The Supermodel (top left on my banner)... such a gorgeous honey colour :huggles:

My dogs also adore their Alfyn beds - we have three so far and they're brilliant for just chucking in the washing machine too

And if I'm not allowed to say how much I like them on an open forum then the whole 'rules' thing is just getting silly because I'm not deliberately advertising but just pointing out how happy my dogs are....

I feel exactly the same Fiona. It just seems that saying how pleased you are with something was deemed as wrong recently :(

Sorry to hijack your thread Kizzy, and I must say Lexi looks lovely with her snuggle bed, we have two and the boys adore them

Can I just confirm then......

It is okay for anyone on K9 to post about anything they have purchased from other members saying how pleased they are with the goods they have bought whether or not they are from The Market Place?

I ask this question because recently we were told that you were dealing with the seperate issue of members promoting goods, encompassing the whole 'associates' thing etc, in an apparently deliberate attempt to avoid advertising.

I may have missed your announcement of how you were moving forward with this seperate issue. If I have, I apologise, please can you point me in the right direction to it.

I fail to see how this thread is different from the one I put up about my collar. As Fiona says, it felt a bit silly being bombarded with rules when all I was trying to say was how happy I was with something I had been given for my new puppy

I am NOT trying to be pedantic, but I can't see how this thread can possibly fall within the rules as stated, as Alfyn does not have a trade advert, nor was this snugglebed an auction item.

I am sure that this post could be perceived as me trying to exacerbate the current sensitive situation surrounding the entire 'selling' process, but that is not the case.

I am just very disappointed that I have risen to this post, I swore to myself that I wouldn't when I saw it yesterday afternoon, but it has upset me. It is simply one rule for one in my eyes, and I believe that is wrong.

As far as I'm concerned, there should be a level playing field, and there doesn't seem to be one to me.

I agree Tracy

I recently bought a bed off Nicky and was under the impression I could not thank her on hear and so had to PM her to thank her.

I did put some pictures on of the bed but didn't mention Nickys name which I felt quite uncomfortable about, because I would have also liked to tell everyone how well made it was.

Also I asked Nicky to make the bed before the market place was set up and it arrived late due to the postal strike, but arrived when the NEW RULES ! were just put on hear.

By looking at this post on here (sorry Kizzy) it seems there are some rules for some and not for others !
