As some of you know, our Swedish boy Quincy (Burnt Sienna Midsummer Dream SC) sprung a surprise on us last year by getting in a quickie breeding on Bosley's sister Gali. (at least we knew he was fertile) Well it appears that it was a nice surprise, the puppies are starting to do some really nice things for their owners.

Elle (Shannon Down Element of Surprise) was exported to Poland recently, where he will spend the next year showing with his owners sister then will come back to the US to be shown!

Francois (Shannon Down Evil Surprise) is getting ready to head to Amsterdam Holland to start his career racing over there!

Mercury (Shannon Down Taken By Surprise) is racing in the Chicago area and may see a show ring.

Wallace (Shannon Down The Big Suprise) is in his new home in No Dakota with Amanda and her family and might get to see some coursing.

Then here is Spencer (Shannon Down Surprise of My Life JC) - he is in Georgia and co owned by us with Dawn Hill. He's turning into quite the lure courser - having earned points at his first ASFA trial and then recently finishing his Junior Courser title and going onto a placement in his first AKC Trial. Thought you might enjoy the excellent photos taken by "Uma Rapiti Photography" of him.

thanks for sharing. I also race my show whippets, its great to see others also have duel purpose whippies! I have been told by many that it can't be done but i know of others who have won in the ring and on the track!

Thank you all for the nice comments - I do love this shade of color - something we don't see here in America very often and normally in the imported dogs only. Spencer's sire if one of the sires of our Dual Sired litter.

This is Spencer's brother Wallace (love that face!!)

and this is his brother Elle who is in Poland now to be shown (just before he left)

If you do see Elle and can take photos - that would be wonderful. I think they are working on getting his Registration finalized. The woman who has him also breeds/shows Borzoi - her name is Angelika.

Probably not going to be shown because I don't think they had plans to show him for a little bit longer - wanted to wait until this Fall, it's Fall now but I haven't heard from her on their plans to show him just yet and she keeps me well updated. But if she is there with her Borzoi's - she may have him there and may visit the Whippet ring - keep an eye out for him and Angelika and if you see them be sure to take some pics and tell her HI from us
