Hi everyone,many thanks for your very kind words,it really means alot to me.

Fern is at Bristol having 24/7 care.

She is hanging in there.

I'm waiting for a phone call this morning(hoping she will not need a op)

Homer is missing his little sister, and he is very restless,but gone to bed now.

Please say a prayer for my little Fern,she is so special to me.

I will keep you all posted.

Having just read the other thread it sounds like a horrendous experience and I hope you and doggy are reunited ASAP.

It makes me wonder whether a licensing/ training/suitability system is required for those that choose to keep large dogs.

I'm not saying that all big dogs are bad because that's obviously untrue but big dogs do take more physical effort to control and have the potential to inflict greater damage when things go wrong.

Pat, only just seen this thread . ....................what an appalling thing to have happened to you all ...................its such a shame that no matter how well behaved OUR own dogs are, we are so often at the mercy of total numpties and like has been said on the previous thread, I sincerely hope that steps are taken to ensure it never happens again.

:luck: Have Fern, Homer and yourselves in my thoughts and have everything crossed for a favourable outcome and speedy recovery.

The guys at Langford are the best and that combined with the attention you and Andy will be able to give her and I am sure Fern will soon be on the

mend. :thumbsup:
