Thought this was a prime opportunity to grab a photo of Neela's shiny white new adult teeth! What a goofy little girl. :teehee:

Haha or George Michael. Bless... their teeth really don't fit their mouths to start off with. When she got her front teeth and still had her baby fangs they looked ridiculously small and had a huge gap either side of the tooth to accomodate the adult sized one.awwww so cute Molly is getting hers now but is looking a bit more like the bee gees Gaynor
Yup... teefs, feets, bungee (which means nose), whuskers etc. It's funny when you talk silly to them and they just look at you, like they know you're a total moron! It's all so beneath them.Aw she looks so cute! Had to laugh at the way you put 'teefs' as that's what we say, too!. Also, when they've had a muddy run in the garden I say 'let's do feets' and they stand in the kitchen and let me wipe their feet before they go in the rest of the house....honestly, I think when you have whippets a bit of your brain falls out...I should know better, I used to be an English teacher!!
They certainly are! Django would happily testify to that!Awwwww, dear of her   Their teeth are so lovely and white too ......... and strong!!!!!
I wanted to call her something that reflected what she looked like, so we scoured the net for hours looking for names that mean 'blue' or 'the moon'. It got narrowed down to 3 names: Luna, Tsuki and Neela. Lots of people have dogs called Luna and Tsuki didn't feel natural to pronounce. It's Japanese for 'moon' and despite the spelling is not pronounced 'sooki', it's pronounced with the 'Tsu' part as 'tSwo' like the number 2 and 'Key' for the 'ki' part. The 'Tsu' part is pronounced quickly and the emphasis is on a longer 'ki'. So it didn't feel natural to say it all the time during the day... let alone to yell it across a field! So we went with Neela... which is an Indian name, meaning 'blue'. :thumbsup:she's a pretty girl, her pearlies are sparkling, love her name, where's it from, does it have a special meaning ?
