he had them in his mouth, down his throat, all over his face. He had over 25 of this barbed spines.

The big question is has he learned not to chase them again.? :- "

Wow... porkies are no fun... Growing up we had this happen to two of our dogs at the same time.. (hunting together...) .. Then when we thought they learned thier lesson, two weeks later they did the same thing again... It was so bad that they had to sedate them both times... I wish y'all all the luck..

Oh dear! Silly dog!! I'm glad we don't have them over here, my Rupert is bad enough with hedgehogs!!

(w00t) That poor dog :( I hope hes not in too much pain

Years ago i trod on a creature ( can t remember its name ) in the sea in Rhodes and it took weeks before all the spines had come out of me foot . I think it was a sea urchin  My foot swelled up with in mins of them going in and we were miles from any medication too .on a boat trip

 OUCH!!! Poor baby :( :( I bet thats sooo painful. How is he now????

how horrid!

was Oscar hard to handle when he had all those spikes in him?

how is he doing now?
