I got chatting to a lady who was interested in getting a whippet. I sent her some pics of my girl Polly as she said she paints, and was always looking for snapshots, not poses as she likes the natural look. She sent me this the other day to see what I thought, I think its stunning, she has captured Polly completely....Im very impressed and Polly is now thinking of taking up modelling!! (she is a little porky as her pups were about 6 weeks lod when the picture was taken!)

I did lots of paintings many years back when I did my Art A Level, of our old whippet X Tizer.

It's always interesting to see people's interpretation when they're doing something a bit different. And that looks cracking! :thumbsup:

She has a really original style doesnt she, if anyone wants to PM me I could pass on her email and you could have a chat, she is a real whippet fan and very down to earth,

This is one that she sent me as a present just before Christmas, I love her style and think it does the breed alot of justice. Its the image of my boy Jimmy, though its not him.

I agree Jackie -I must admit head studies are my favourite.

There are two more lovely paintings put on by Kitty l972 on 2 Feb.

Painted by her sister. They are not head studies, but lovely also.

It's by the very famous Lucian Freud. He has whippets and he has done a lot of paintings with them in. :thumbsup:
