ummm all this sadness for a bloke accused of being less than proper with children (money bought him out of that accusation) a bloke who dangled his own? child out of a hotel window? makes his children walk about with vails over their faces?

have to say i totally agree with you on this one :)

Well I seem to be in the minority here but I think it is really sad.

I for one don't really believe a lot of what has been slung at him in recent years and would rather remember him for the music legend that he was.

There has been a lot of coverage about Farrah Fawcett's death both on Tv and the internet. It is too a very sad loss, but it is inevitable that when a living legend dies suddenly it will be over shadowed.

Same here Rachel....the tragic death of a music legend.... its very sad

somesone son, father, brother ....lets remember that.

RIP Michael

and RIP Farah Fawcett Majors too...

fame can make most charges for illegal activaties go away. wonder how many of his supporters would of "GENUINLY" allowed their young children to have stayed for a sleep over?.

think most them them were after his money Mark.....innocent until proven guilty...

off the wall was a genius album....but what has he done in the recent years??

No Sarah...I dont genuinely believe he would have made those concerts either...

think it was time for him to give up his music career......but fate has done this for him. :(

this media hysteria is soo over the top...to me there are far more important news to focus on than this..yes..mention it but it has dominated all the news channels..the radio hasnt stopped going on about it.....peole die every day fighting wars but what coverage do they get?

The media do go on and on and on dont they.....

we had to live on Lady Di for months....even now....they cant let people die in peace these days.

That is celebrity for you. It is of HUGE interest to literally millions and millions of people all over the world.

Well Im listening to it right now....he was born the same year as me

and Ive grown up with his music and can remember the Jackson5 like yesterday..

I for one want to hear about his life.

I agree

He lived his life in the media and so its natural his death

would be such a massive deal.

People are entitled to grieve for the man if they want.

I don't think he done anything to those kids, i think in

his odd world he was one of those kids.....

I,ve always liked his music(well most of it) from the time he was in Jackson 5 and hits like Thiller,Beat it etc.Although i don't agree with him covering up his children and dangling off the balcony. We don't know for sure if he done anything to those kids, that we will never know. He was one of the greatest pop artist and millions of records were sold worldwide. The concert that sadly not going ahead here in th UK,the tickets where sold out in no time,so he still had his fans!!

Thats how I feel Anne, :( I dont really feel he was capable in some ways...he was such a kid himself...

some of the things he did made me cringe....but then I thought of being brought up from such a young age always on stage...always in the limelight

not being able to enjoy childhood .....a normal childhood...

i agree, with you both, i think he set himself up for a fall by his naive actions......i don't think he did anything either....and in my opinion some families used him as a meal ticket.....also what sort of a parent lets their child go and stay with the 40 odd yr old man down the street??????? (they were lucky it was him, child like himself..and not a pedo!)

after the loss of my dads brother last week and his service yesterday i find all this nasty back lashing sad and uncalled for, the man is dead...have some respect....you may not care but I'm sure his family and fans around the world do.

So very true Julie.

I am quite disgusted by some of the comments I have read on facebook and the like.

RIP Michael.

I am very sad he is dead , he was a true genius and as such was a bit different from the majority of people .

Innocent until proven guilty :(

Even if he was wacko, its a shame to die so young. He was super talented, RIP MiCHAEL.
