Sorry for starting a new thread but the Scruples one is getting epic!

I know Molly was going to the vets today and that she may or may not be travelling.

Is there any news on her health after her trip to the vets :sweating: :sweating: :sweating: :luck: :luck:

Unfortunatley the vets only had one appointment left today and there wasnt enough time to get her there for it so she will be going tomorrow now, shes fine in herself and eating like a horse also drinking well ,shes going to beckas tonight in lancashire where i will say goodbye to her ,not looking forward to it :(

Thanks for the update Trish.

You will miss her I am sure.

Hope the flea problem is under control :teehee: It must have been all you needed at the end of a long day.

I will be so much happier when she has been given a good check by a vet. Probably too late for an ultrasound to show much as she is so large now.

Will keep watching this thread for vet update tomorrow.

Hope all goes well at the vets tomorrow.

Did you manage to get rid of her little ' friends ' Trish

Aww Trish ... you have done so much for this lady little already, really feel for you having to say good bye :huggles:

can see why you are gonna find it hard trish.. :huggles:

Only 2 more hours with her now :'(

I hope weve sorted the fleas out , she had quite alot :(

Hugs for you Trish :huggles:

The new pictures of Molly are wonderful - she looks so much more relaxed!!

I have had a consultation with my own vet (whom I trust implicitly) and shown her the pictures of Molly. She has given me a long list of signs/symptoms to look out for and, as yet, Molly has none of these. She is a small dog and is not particularly well nourished so the resulting "dip" around her flanks makes her look bigger than if she was well nourished.

Unless there is a radical change tomorrow, Molly should be making her trip to Devon in the comfort of Becka's luxurious dog limousine

Glad all is going well, and that according to your vet she looks ok in the pics. Looking forward to hearing how her appointment goes tomorrow

i did wonder that, i wasnt sure, having not seen very many pregnant whippets, but she did look on the skinny side to me, which i wondered if that was making her bump look bigger than it actually is

travel safe tomorrow becka and molly :huggles: :luck: :huggles:

Aww Trish can understand how you can so attached..she is a beauty...

Its really lovely you have played an important part is this little ladys new start in life...

Wishing molly a safe journey and hope she settles well ,im sure she will shes such a laid back girl and not a minutes trouble :)) it was very hard saying goodbye, it broke my heart having to take her away from what she was use to yesterday and then for her to trust me straight away and i again take her away :( im feeling very crappy at the moment :(

Awww, Trish :huggles:

That little face has become part of your heart so quickly and I promise you will have regular updates on her progress

If you are coming down this way you know that you, Graham and your beautiful family of whippets are ALWAYS WELCOME HERE

It is going to be a confusing few days for her, but dogs are amazingly adaptable, I'm sure she'll cope with the changes and enjoy her new life when she gets to Devon. If you all hadn't stepped in it really doesn't bear thinking about what she might have gone through in the wrong hands :huggles:

:( awww trishy, you have helped her on her way to a better life

cheer up

xxxxxxxxxx

Oh Bless you Trish, you've started her off on a much better life. and she will adapt

Thanks jane ,maybe one day we will be down your way to pay a visit x

Once she is down at Jane's and is settled, she will have her pups and won't care where she is as long as she has her babies. Good luck :luck: Jane, you are a star, a big golden star.
