Fantastic Duncan,,, she looks very happy....

You dont know anyone looking for a gorgeous boy, her brother actually, He is gorgeous !!

Well heres the latest update on Lacey, a day before Duncan was going to have her shot !!! :angry:

As she would chase but wouldnt kill !!!!!!!!

poor girl was covered in pooh, as she has been living in a shed with his poor other dogs... and badger bits too.............

Poor girl god knows what she has been through...,

good grief thank god shes safe now. its going to take some work getting her fit well and feeling secure again.

A Local farmer called a local Greyhound rescue after speaking to Duncan and he said he was going to shoot her. Luckily she is now safe in the hands of greyhound rescue and will be found a loving home....

As this was supposed to be !

She is still such a happy girl, and so loves everyone they are just so forgiving....

well where do i start,i was the farmer who contacted gryhound rescue through a friend who walks her dogs and never once did i say i was going to have her shot,and where did living in a shed come from as the people who picked her up didnt even come down my drive and look out the back.yes she had a badger bite which she recieved purely by accident whilst i was trying her on a few rabbits,which as a result combined with my collie becoming aggresive and spiteful toward her she went downhill which is why I TOOK THE STEPS TO REHOME HER.turning down 200 quid along the way from someone who wanted to breed from her.after a shity message from karen and reading this lot makes me wonder if there is two sides to every story,get your facts right first karen ,yes she was in a poor state which is why i sent her to where she would be best looked after.i will now go and take some pics of my dogs and kennels and you can see for yourselfs.

I can only say that Lacey's foot was terribly infected, and hadnt been treated, She is covered in sores, and weeping wounds.

As for finding her a decent home, maybe you could have had her speyed first and then she wouldnt have been used as a breding machine....

She was taken in an an emergency, people dont normally make up the fact dogs are going to be shot,

Look forward to the piccies of the kennels, which I was told the person did see and were quite filthy !!!! and resemble a shed, not kennels...

i have not started anything on an open forum but seeing karen has seen fit to do so i see the need to defend myself from these slanderouse accusations,it was never mentioned or implyed that she was to be shot,if i were that way inclined do you honestly think i would have had her rescued and then told them what i was allegedly going to do,she has not been put into pup,someone offerd me 200 quid to do so which i rejected totally,not the actions of someone who does not care,and as for my filthy kennels they didnt even come down my driveway just pulled up on the road loaded her up and off thay went.yes she had a bad injury to her foot but weeping sores all over her,not when she left here,

As you can see from the picture, Lacey has a large wound on her leg, and her foot was badly infected and hadnt been treated.

She wasnt rescued but offered to a good home, and she would have always been taken back by the trainer if it hadnt worked out.

The rescue that took her in , contacted me and told me about the state she was in. and the reason for her ending up in rescue.

I can only say what ive been told, And there must be some reason for a dog that ws in perfect condition to end up like this.

As you say she was bitten by a Badger, so whay didnt she see a vet ??

And she should be grateful you didnt sell her for £200 :rant: :rant: :rant:

No mention of sheds, or anything in my post here ?? just the state of the dog !!!
