I used to think I had a house full of mutts and mongrels, but I realise now that they are in fact Designer crossbreeds. No doubt they would have been worth hundreds of pounds if they hadn't all come from rescue centres :- "

Anyone else with any Designer dogs out there they'd like to add :p

THE HEARTHRUG DOG

musky041206e.jpg

We've had the teacup dog and the handbag dog – now the very latest thing, the Hearthrug dog.

Do you have a large house and more money than sense? Are you bored with taking the same old route from one end of your living room to another? If so then a Hearthrug dog is for you!

The Hearthrug dog's uncanny ability to lie exactly where you most want to put your feet means that every time you cross the room you will be presented with a new and delightful challenge. You will be forced to take novel and sometimes dangerous paths just to reach your own kitchen. No two trips across the room will ever be the same! Family and visitors alike can't fail to be charmed by this exciting addition to your home.

THE GRELUKI

taz100105b.jpg

An exotic mixture of Greyhound and Saluki, this versatile dog is equally at home in the living rooms of Middle England or the deserts of North Africa. This dog has a proud working history, and is ideally suited to any tasks which require mad aimless running or excessive sleeping.

Now most popular as an elegant sofa accessory, the Greluki-Salhound comes with an exclusive range of contrasting throws, guaranteed to show your spare sofa off to best advantage.

THE Scruff-Bag

Meglet.jpg

This delightful little Border Terrier/Whippet cross is a post-handbag dog especially for those superstars worried that their blinged-up canine accessories might out-dress and upstage them. The Scruff-Bag's careful breeding absolutely guarantees that no amount of bathing, brushing, clipping or grooming will ever make the Scruff-Bag look anything but completely scruffy – and thus will always make you look good!

The Scruff-Bag is a must for anyone who's confident superstar image masks inner doubts or deep psychological insecurities

THE WHOLLIE

Dscn1948.jpg

A whippet/collie mixture, this dog is particularly popular with those who want a dog that can not only outrun them but outsmart them as well. This is a revival of a traditional breed, long used for herding rabbits on Welsh hillsides.

A perfect miniature sighthound measuring just 20" to the shoulder, the Whollie is ideal for anyone who has ever wanted a larger sighhound but can't be arsed to look after one. The Whollie is a little larger than the popular teacup breeds but could, if forced, fit into a large soup tureen.

(w00t) (w00t) (w00t) i wouldnt mind one of those sruffbags and a woolie would be perfect to out run and out smart my OH (although out smarting wouldnt take much) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t)

(w00t)

That was brilliant  :D

I'd have one of all of those breeds  , but a Whollie looks especially lovely

I have a Soapfree-Cleansing Dog! It's wonderful for cleaning other dogs ears with and saves on bathing too. You don't need refills and it readily washes all types of face, bare legs and random areas of the kitchen floor which we think are clean but clearly we've missed molecules of food. It readily sticks it's wetbit in ears and nostrils too :p :* It's quite a common breed and we have a large black version too :p

It also functions outstandingly as a Crumbcatcher-ppet. :teehee:

(w00t) thats brilliant a must have for every household

pmsl!so apt! do these particular designer doggies come with designer prices too? :- " youre gonna have folk beating a path to your door wanting one of these!especially if they cost more than a pedigree breed!

The Whiffie

Often found in the distinctive meerkat pose the Whippet/Staffie Designer breed is highly destructive and very noisy.

The Bitza Terrier

High sums of money should be paid for true Bitza terriers - they must include 2 bits of terrier in their breeding to become true designer breeds. The Border/Staffy version comes with its own mohican and distictive hyena look. Designed to blend into the environment it is often elusive to photgraph.

Coming soon ... the Cog

This highly anticipated desgner cross is still in the production stage and may show some signs of agression.

i like the desiging behind the COG although i think that it is so agressive as the cat side is ticked of that you used more dog in the name when it is clearly a more cat creature CAG's are the way to go :p :p

Further to advice the CAG is now rendered harmless and will go into production.

woohoo!! (w00t) can my name be put down for your first CAG litter? :p

Cause you can but you do realise they have hugely inflated prices, and obviously arent like those mongrel crossbreeds that are available from rescue centres throughout the country. Part of the price includes what i would have spent if i could have been bothered to home check you and obviously for any health defects that may occur in the future. I can supply you the contact details for rehoming sites or local shelters but please be aware i dont want it back if something goes wrong. I will make papers for you tonight - if i can find a template online so you know its designer. Please dont confuse this designer breed with a crossbreed - these pedigrees are accredited and everything. Available from 6 weeks old and sure your vet can advise about vaccinatinations and all those technical things. So chuffed you want one - first time i have one prebooked.

Brilliant thread and lovely dogs too  Fee Fee you should work for Marks & Spencers, you could sell sand to the arabs with your commentry!

Brilliant

Well apparently I have a housefull of designer mutts

Another type of Whollie...AKA The Thieving Mongrel

This breed is the result of years of selective breeding & has resulted in a "Self Feeding" dog. She will always manage to find food so you will never have to worry about expensive dog food bills. Of course, you may end up going hungry yourself but hey, you shouldn't have turned your back on the Thieving Mongrel

The Draught Excluder Dog

These are bred to get even woolier in winter therefore keeping out even more draughts

 The Whollie...also very useful as a bed warmer

And lastly... The Bedlington Shunt

We reckon her mum was a beddy & something (a naughty whippet probably :- " )ran into the back of her :b :b

Want to shed a few pounds and get yourself fit. You need a designer Moonwaker hound.

For the best effect one needs to be incredibly wealthy and have a pack of moonwalkers.

These dogs do not in themselves need vast amounts of excercise but will happlily keep you fit by lying prone on your carpet (thick pile required) while you moonwalk over them to get from one side of the room to the other.

beginer hound.

Introducing the Hogster! The Hogster has the amazing ability of being able to fit anything inside its elastic chops so don't let your hogster go hungry because it might just start eating plasma screen televisions and trampolines.

Perfect as a hoover subsitute
