My 17 year old son passed his driving test 1st time today

It'll save me being a taxi service but on the other hand I'll be worried sick when he is out and about in his car :- "

Well done , there will be no stopping him now.

My daughter passed hers in January...

Well done him

Well done

Thanks everyone :)

He just came in a wee while ago after picking up his girlfriend and now they are off to visit some friends :D I am sure the novelty of running around town will wear off soon, he's already borrowed £20 from me for petrol and only passed this morning :- "

It is meant to be really difficult for 17 yr old boys to pass these days my son's instructor said today, so your son done great as well :D They are meant to be clamping down on the younger one's passing. I would never pass my test if I was to sit it nowadays :- "

As Janis said this will be the start of the money lending  Hopefully he won't appear back to late tonight as he has work experience for Riding for the disabled tomorrow at 8.30am :- "

He is doing it for work experience as he is trying to get on to the vet course at Edinburgh Uni :- " He said he is really enjoying it though. Today he said it really makes you appreciate how lucky you can be compared to others.
