Previously I have always taken any pictures on my phone which meant Dudley would have to stay still for quite a while so I could get a pic that didnt come out like a smudge!

I came home last night to receive a suprise prezzie from the OH.... A digital camera (w00t) So of course we had to get some pics of the Dudster this morning :D Here they are... Might be quite a few :- "

Just having a look on k9 before going our walk :- "

What a great set of photos, Dudley is such an active little lad isnt he

Some lovely ones there, well done

Really enjoyed looking at those Emma. I can see you're having great fun trying out the different settings on your camera. :) Dudley is gorgeous  - I love the one of him jumping at your back too - it looks really good in sepia.

Those fields look like good whippet walking territory - no sheep? You'll have to point us in their direction when we're over that way in October. ;)

Well there is some sheep and lots of cows but there is always an area sheep and cow free  thats the bit we go to. Its lovely there. Its the Beverley westwood, if you google beverley racecourse then that will probably give you directions although I can always point you in the right direction if we meet next month  We always park opposite the race course which is usually cow and sheep free and Burton Bushes is there which is like a mini enclosed area of woodland, perfect for whippies   Emma xxx

what a lovely place to walk!!! he really is a beauty isnt he?? :huggles:

Great pictures, he is such a gorgeous boy  looks like he is having lots of fun running and playing

He's growing up!!!

Look forward to many more episodes!

Great pics with your new camera.

Love the pic of Dudley sat looking up at you. Those fields are just right for a little whippie. :D

Great pics - looks like you've got a nice camera there

Dudley is really growing into a handsome boy now :D

How lovely to see another whippet on the Westwood! My parents and sister live in Beverley, so we always have some great walks up there with Zephyr when we stay there - he is always amazed by the friendly cows!!! :teehee:

I hope you don't mind me saying, but when I was a veterinary nurse, we were constantly getting dogs in with severe injuries from throwing sticks, in fact a close friend of mine's dog ended up having 17 operations to try to remove fragments of stick which had torn the back of his throat and ended up being lodged in his spine! :( I would highly recommend a kong on a rope or a frisbee for dogs who like chasing; they are great exercise for them and much safer.

Maybe we'll see you next time we're in Beverley :) Here is a blurry pic of Zephyr racing in the snow on the Westwood in Jan this year. :p

Course I dont mind you saying  . We do always take a toy but he is never interested in them for some reason  So we throw a stick on very odd occasions, but im aware that this is risky although admitedly didnt realise it could be that serious so no more sticks

Might see you up there  Does your sister have dogs?

No, she doesn't have any dogs of her own at the moment. I'll pm you next time we come up to Yorkshire and see if we can meet up for a whippet walk!
