my cat has been missing now since thursday he is not a great wanderer as where we live is quite isolated but he does like to roam the fields where i live catching the baby rabbits :- " what i really wanted to know is would it be likely that he has been got by a fox because i would find it really hard to belive he has got run over as the traffic is limited and i wouldnt think he has been taken by a neighbour becasue again they are few and far between i just hate not knowing whats happened to him :( and that is the only explanation i can think of but wasnt too sure if a fox would bother any help is gratefully appreciated

we have foxes and they stay clear of the cats,

although i know many cats to have gone and turned up weeks or even months later, which is probabily the most likley,

have you checked all sheds green houses and garages that sort of thing.

my mums cat went missing for a week in the winter and at the end of the week she went to the shed for somthing and it was in there, it had wrecked everything and the place stank :x it had been there for 5days trying to get out.

so i would check all those places first

the more glum side, is it an old cat?

as my cat we had when we were wee went out in the morning and the neighbour came round later to tell my dad it had died and was lying in his garden she was 16years old and just looked like she had been sun bathing :'(

not a nice thing to think about but possible if it is old

hope he comes back safe and sound  :huggles:

thanks everyone hes only 8 so i dont think he has died although its not impossible i will check all the places i can think of and just hope he comes home the sod thanks
