But if they come back injured , youve wasted time and money (w00t) getting to the show , havnt you. :wacko:dessie said:Same as I would any time I walk them!!Karen said:And what do you do if a, they go off for an hour or two. or b, come back with a hole or bushed up toe and you are miles from home?dessie said:I exercise mine, even before they go to a show, unless we are leaving really, really early but yesterday we went out into the woods during the lunchbreak, before Rupert and Sid went into the ring and they had a good blow then!! Sid stayed around but Rupert and Angel went off hunting for about 5 -10 minutes and came back with some terrier type thing that had been hanging around the car park!!! Obviously one of the locals!Karen said:Anyone got any ideas how to make a dog a bit weary if you cant give it a good run that day?
a. wait for them
b. patch them up temporarily until I get back to my Vet!!
Think I'm losing the will to take this showing lark seriously!!!
Im all for letting my dogs run free ,but there is a TIME and PLACE for everything o
