Well Easter is early and I fear it will be cold!

We are off in John's prize camper, Izzy is already excited as it is out front of the house!

Can any of the Norfolk folk, there are loads of you, recommend some good beaches and Whippet fun places to go please? And any nice places I ought to not miss..

I remember Overstrand being a nice beach to walk on last year..... site is on outskirts of Cromer.

Please cross everything for no rain Thursday-Monday, I can cope with anything but rain :- "

Wouldnt go anywhere if we relied on the English weather would we, get yourselves off and enjoy :luck:

(w00t) You lucky thing! If we go on holiday we always go to Norfolk. I love Sea Palling - great beach

You'll find this a bit odd, but I thought about you today. :b As I was coming out of Manchester Piccadilly station I was day dreaming about owning a camper van.

'Ann Glews and Izzy on K9 have got one,' I thought, and I imagined all the holidays the OH and I could have at a drop of the hat with Fred & Stan and our camper van :- "

Sorry..can't answer your original question though...I don't know Norfolk at all!

I'd love a camper van if I could persuade Richard he'd love one too - as much chance of that as getting our third whippet I think! :- "

North Norfolk is a fantastic place and you're spoilt for choice with beaches. :) East of Cromer is one long sandy beach, right down as far as Yamouth so just take your pick. Then you have Wells and Holkham to the west with massive beaches. If you fancy a change take the steam train from Sheringham to Holt (dog friendly) and get off at Weybourne for a walk on Kelling Heath or Sheringham Park. Holt is good for craft and food shops.

Sorry I sound a bit like an employee for the Norfolk Tourist Board (w00t) - I just love Norfolk, having lived there for 3 years. Hope you have a lovely time, Ann. We're off to the SW Cumbrian coast for a few days next week - nice beaches there for the whippets too. :D
