I have been taking Alba out on some solo runs as i have been working on

this barking habit he has. So when my daughter asked if anybody needed

a run i asked her to take the girls. While they were out a large dog appeared

from over the dunes and attacked Kaya. This startled her and she took to her

heels, my daughter whistled but she was to scared and just kept going. Sada

then followed her........she always rounds K up when it's time to go.

They left the beach with my daughter chasing behind them, they went over

the main road on the seafront.......luckily it was early and not much traffic

about, but two cars had to stop for them. Then then came across one more

road and turned on to our street.

I was changing my bed and Alba went mad at the window, i looked out to

see K at the front gate and Sada a little way behind. Time i fell over Alba

to get down the stairs they were then trotting back down the road towards

my daughter.......who was still running and blowing her whistle poor mare.

I cant believe they legged it home like that, they have never done anything

like it, it must have just been fright, K was shaking and her eyes were like

Saucers but i couldn't find any damage done. Sada was just chuffed she'd

brought K home. Im so glad they got here safely it took my heart a little

while to settle after getting over the shock of seeing them at the gate.

The rest of the day passed quiet enough until i turned my back on Al

tonight and the sod stole a Chicken fajita of the tale.......i forget how

big he is and how far he can reach..........

Bloody Hell Ann how terrifying for all of you  - what a clever girl though to make it home - roads or not they could have ended up anywhere - your poor daughter :huggles:

omg ann thats my worst fear too, thank god they wasnt hurt and they got home in one piece :sweating:

as for alba (w00t) you will have to learn to push things to the back of your work sufrfaces :b hope he doesnt get a running bum :- " :p :teehee:

After i'd got over the shock i realised how lucky they were,

my poor daughter was in tears but still running up the road

blowing her whistle.........it doesn't bear thinking about, what

could have happened

As for big Al if he has a runny bum he will be cleaning up

after himself

Sod that he is ;)

Sounds like they've had quite enough adventures for one weekend - you must be so relieved they were ok. Your poor daughter must have had such a shock too.

I'm really glad they got home safely! Your poor daughter must have been frantic. These people with nasty dogs should have to keep them on the lead!
