A big thanks for all the messages of support. This is the 10th year that the Pedal For Scotland event has been run and every year I say that I am going to do that and every year I don’t so this year I had a go and it was a brilliant day out. There was about 6000 cyclists both male and female taking part from kids to adults all the way through to pensioners. A very well run event all of the cyclists were well looked after and the event was marshalled well and most of all the charity’s will receive some much needed money. The route took us along some major roads, country roads and onto the national cycle network and some of the course was tough going and with a slight head wind in parts you could say it was a bit of a workout but the one thing that will stick in my mind was that when we passed through some places there was people lining the streets watching and applauding all of us I did not expect that. I do cycle to my work most of the time although it is only a 15 mile round trip. Would I do the Pedal For Scotland ride in 2009 without a doubt as it is a ride and not a race and very enjoyable and I would recommend it or a event like it.

Some photos of the day I was going to put one of me on but the last thing you would want to see is me and my bike trust me on that one.
