Ouch Jacob    :(   - note to self please in future - when your legs begin to detach themselves from your body you should stop, or at least slow down.
Looking forward to meeting everyone and a good days lure coursing.   Sorry to hear so many dogs dropping out due to injury and season.

Mark I bet you wish you'd done the draw on the day now

Good luck to everyone of course. It will be a great day for you all  I think the draw is best done close to the event. There are always drop outs and inclusions along this road. :luck:

drop outs and inclusions. :* people could take offence at your brash statements chris..............

Any chance of a map/directions/postcode of where we're going?

thankyou much

very much looking forward to next weekend

Thanks Chris :huggles: Spry says she's raring to go,it's a shame her family aren't going to compete with her, but she'll do her best to make them proud :D

Kane just takes things in his stride -_-

awwwww  what a lovely photo leslie :huggles:

mine are kinda scattered all over the room, Lola inher usual 'draped off the furniture style' Maggie is in front of the fire and Faith is curled up on the settee with me. This is what having a whippet is all about.... taking them out to stretch their legs and peace and quiet at home :huggles:

Thanks Sarah :huggles:

How's Maggie, ok I hope :)

See you sunday :D

maggie is miles better, and rearing to go.

she maybe a bit 'careful' as only a princess should be

Thats good to hear Sarah, they are tough little dogs on the quiet aren't they

I have told Kane if he ends up running with her he has to be careful not bump into her :D

Not realy with so much interest in this event owners wanted the draw done early and we had plenty of reserves to replace any that withdrew so I think the early draw has added to the excitment for owners.

Any chance of a map/directions/postcode of where we're going?
Yep

Leave the M62 at jnc 21 then follow the brown signs for Hollingworth Lake Country Park, once you reach the lake (on your right) drive along the lake then turn right when you reach a large white pub (The Wine Press) keeping the lake on your right, continue along this Rd for approximatly 1 mile and you will reach the Rugby club on your right.

post code for the venue is ~ OL15 0AP (then turn right over small bridge)

Being the first to run Single Breed Lure coursing events and having been running lure coursing meetings now for nearly 7 years now I think we know how to do things.

Hi Kieth,

thays a shame but no bitch's in season would be allowed on the venue as they could distract the male runners attention, but you could always come up without the dog for the day out.
