Please Help Me Choose A Stallion

I have always had rather a soft spot for Stanhopes Diddicoy, what do you think about him, do you think it would just be following fashion or do you think he's any good?
break him down in your eye and see what points he has to compliment your mare , sorry but ive just fallen in love   what is his movement like?

Gem is just stunning. Sad that she isn't seeming to come sound for you, but fantastic news that you can keep her off spring - how exciting (w00t) I have a 17hh thoroughbred who is having a year off as his feet are a nightmare so he may get brought into work next summer or just carry on being retired!!!!! Lovely for you that you have found her a smashing home for life  I will for sure ask a few friends and also have a few jockey friends who no doubt may have some fantastic ideas or will know of some lovely stallions that may be of interest to you. What do you think you are hoping to do with the youngster? Are you looking to do cross country? showing jumping? bit of everything?? :D

He looks rather handsome Olivia... Wow...

sorry Im just not a TB fan, and wouldnt even have a part bred :(

personally id go warmblood, maybe a finer type.

at the end of the day its personal choice and what you want.

I just find WB more of an even temp, and know way tooo many crazy TB's, they always seem accident prone to me too.

forgot to say, i personally know this stallion, hes lovely.

ICON. lustiano x, 15.3hh, events, dressage, SJ.

then again, if i were to breed i would be tempted for Demonstrator... hes stunning, and i know a few horses by him, everyone is fantastic!

good luck choosing! :luck:

Although I am absolutely no help whatsoever, I have thoroughly enjoyed this thread :D

I think Country Lone Ranger looks fantastic :* and Demonstrator

I've seen Stanhope Diddicoy and a lot of the Countryman stud off spring compete and they are very nice, and always do well in the showring.

I know Diddicoy does more than showing too and is a pretty competent showjumper too, he is a lovely shape and has a fab temperment. :huggles:

The palomino stallion looks very nice too, although maybe a little small for what you are wanting to breed.

Absolutely stunning, speechless

Diddicoy does get nice stock and they command good prices too. I have seen quite a few of them and they do seem to sell on well.
