Have only just picked up this thread..

How simply dreadful. So glad to hear that Fern survived, and that you managed to find her and escort her back to the car.

You must have been in quite a state too.

I would suggest Arnica, and Rescue Remedy,,(both of which would be incredibly helpful now) but you mention some other potion which is a new one on me.. is it good and does it help heal bruises too?

Might be prudent to give Arnica anyway... you too, would probably benefit from the rescue remedy!

Thank goodness she had no broken legs - it doesn' bear thinking about.

My very best wishes to all of you.

This will make many of us say "There but for the grace of God go I !!"

Hoping both you and Fern recover from this frightening accident quickly :huggles:

Poor Fern :( :( and what a terrifying experience for both of you! :( :(

So relieved that it wasn't worse, Beejay, but it will have shaken both of you up for while. And the worry of how to get an injured dog back to the car when you have all these other dogs too - it must have been a nightmare!

Glad she is on the mend now. :luck:  :huggles:

Very sorry to hear about Fern - I know just how you feel as our late lurcher Tyack was hit by a lorry when he was a youngster, after chasing off after something. The screaming sound he made was chilling and many people rushed out of their houses to see what the fuss was about. He suffered cuts/bruises and a broken pelvis and yelped everytime he tried to lie down - it was a dreadful experience and I am now totally paranoid about walking anywhere near roads. I hope Fern recovers quickly and is soon back to her normal self.

:huggles: :huggles: :huggles: Big cuddles Fern.

So it's not just cats that have more than one life!! :- " Fern is one lucky dog.

Hope you are feeling calmer now she is home :huggles:

Fern's looking quite good today thank goodness.

Injury 30 is a mix of Arnica, Calendula, Hypericum, Rhus Tox, Ruta Grav and Symphytum. I bought it from Ainsworths.

Only just seen this thread. So sorry for you and Fern, Beejay. Think positive it could have been a LOT worse and she will mend. This sort of thing is part of the joys of owning running dogs but we still have them!
