Hi everyone,

I was out with all of the dogs today as i am always on a Sunday doing the horses when disaster struck. I had just finished and was taking the dogs up from my yard when I heard this almighty bang and yelping, as I looked up to my horror Indiana had crashed full on in to my mums retriever dog Bracken :( . by the time I had got to indi he was still going round in circles with his head tilted like he had just had a stroke and wetting himself. I didn't know wot to do I just froze, thank god my mum was there. so I got him in to the house and checked him over like a mad woman as they had collided head on when they were both running flat out. he thankfully had broken anything so I let him settle down for a while but his breathing wasn't right and he wasn't willing to get up and walk around so I took him down the vets as I was worried that he really hurt himself. when we got there she pulled him around and there wasn't anything there thank god, although when she turned his head one way it clicked so they think he had Jared his neck and that he has probably bruised his lungs but should be OK :- " she gave us some tablets and said to make sure he rests and gets lots of TLC so as you can imagine I am soooo relived that its not any worse. He is now resting quietly and sleeping. My poor little o:)

Hi whippetwise,

No truer words have ever been spoken, my heart was in my mouth and if it wasn't for the fact that he needed me there and then I could have thrown up because of the yelping it was horrible :( so he is in my room tonight to sleep, under my own interpretation of the vets words (lots of TLC) :b

:huggles: to you all, he needs a bit of TLC as you say, wonder if it'll stop him rushing around tho ? :- "

Hi everyone just an update on Indiana,

seems much better now although he is still coughing a little, Its like when they go for a long run and get back and have to much to drink to quickly so I don't know what's the matter? could still be a touch of bruising and swelling vet did say it could take a couple of weeks to all go down.
