I don't think Dessie will mind me posting this here as she has had the opertunity to handle them) and this on the boys only !

Pup 1, I haven't studied cos he is out of the equation (Secret :- " all will be revealed soon )

I still like Pup 2 for overall make and shape

Pup 3 has a very good front and rear angulation but I don't like his topline, I think he will fall away too much, possibly not enough length of rib.

Between pup 6 and pup 5, I prefer pup 6 as he is better angulated and has probably the best topline of all the boys, even though Pup 5 was not co-operating particularly last night, in the last couple of photo sessions he just strikes me as 'stuffy' all through, whereas Pup 6 has improved (looking back over all the pics) and I would go for him over pup 3.

So, my placings would be:

1. pup 2

2. pup 6

3. pup 3

4. pup 5

But that is based on what I like and would keep ............ might be totally different from others!!!

I've said it before and I'll say it again :lol:

number 2 has caught my eye for the first time, but I can't tell you why - not that its a secret, just cos I don't know!!  :wacko:
and that girl number 7 - she might not be the 'best' one there (again, don't know if she is or isn't ) but she is so striking, she should definately come to live with me, and I'm not even a 'girly' person, I like boys!  Monty would love a stripey sister, I'm sure :thumbsup:

Still like 8 best of the girls. From having a second look, if i had to choose a boy, it would be 2.

Ah nup - still #5 and #8 for me.

Considering the dogs alone: I'm not liking the two brindle boys at present as they lack length IMO. They 'seem' taller than they are long.

#2 and #6 were close up in my first decision but I have given them a little more thought this time 'round. Both nice dogs but I am still going stick my ground and put them behind #5

The 'other side' pic of #5 is a shocker and doesn't do much for him at all but I still like his length over #2. #2 is a little better in the length of hock dept though I think.

I think the brindle markings coming up #5's neck might have a bit to do in making his neck look a bit stuffy - but shown correctly you could overcome that illusion. #6's markings on his off side do the the opposite, making his neck look elongated, but then again it is his off side, and strange markings don't bother me at all. He is close behind #5 I think - his turn of stifle looks better than #5's at present but that could be a lot to do with the fact that he has taken two quite good photos and #5 has taken an ok one and a shocker.

The bitches #8, #4, #7. Dark brindle bitch third for the same reason as the brindle dogs.

Show me pics next week and see what I say! :teehee:

Added to this I'd like to say that photos can be very deceiving. Recently I saw a pic of a high profile dog and I hated him - thought that he lacked substance and was straight shouldered. Then I saw the dog in the flesh and very quickly did an about turn. He was still too big for me but there was a lot to like about him.

Pup #7 is going to a K9 er next wed :thumbsup:

This whole topic has been for another K9 er who cannot choose between #5 & #6 LOL :lol:

At first it was 1 5 and 8, :wub: then it went to 2 5 and 8, now it's 5 or 8 :b if I had to choose it would probably be 8 :wacko: . Do to me liking 8 consistantly.

How the heck am I going to choose from the lot I have the pick of!!!! :blink: It's going to have to be which one takes my heart that's all I think I can do....

The little who laid on her back paws akimbo is a little girl (the runt I suppose - well she was the smallest of the litter) but by god could she scrabble to get her food!!!
