'gotta kill it mum..........I know........I'll suck it to death.........' :b (if anyone remarks Bj-that you can tell it's a girl bred by me....... :- " ) :p

Well, for those of you that don't yet recognise my muddy sofa, :D we're going to keep Uggy :huggles: .

Got a lovely telephone call tonight, from a very suitable lady for Uggy, explained to her that she was still here, but,we hadn't decided what to do regarding keeping her/selling her. She's going to ring me back tomorrow...........

We then had a family meeting regarding 'what to do with Uggy........' and, she's staying put :teehee:  :huggles:  (w00t) :) :D  .

She is very cheeky, when David or Stu tell her off.......she stands and shouts at them and clearly says 'up yours' ..........when I tell her no,she runs straight to her bed, glances at me,then comes and gets on my lap to kiss me and say sorry.....we have a :huggles: and a :* .

I want her to keep her cheekiness, basically, she's got balls, although she hasn't lol.

sorry Bj,she's Uggy.David is going to call her Patches,he took the pics of her.......and the file on the comp is Ugie......think that pronounces Oogee, or he calls her Iggie.....I've explained to him the Uggy concept, it's a variation on Ugly, only she isn't Ugly, she's very pretty  but I am very biased and will thump anyone except Bj who says otherwise.

A very big thank-you to Bj,for re-sizing my pics, making them jpeg instead of bitmap, and the support she has always given me  could never repay her.

Well I can only go by my own experiences when buying and selling. :)) When buying, even just a pet,I was still more interested in other things regarding the pups other than price!! I WAS interested in who both the parents were and if I could see them?A

 I did not mean to suggest that pet buyers are not interested in the parents. What i meant is they are not really interested if the sire is a superb mover, or the dam has excelent front. The do want to meet them, but what they are looking for is not easily expressed over the phone.

People who are looking for show stock know the breeding already. :)

Hi everyone,
A big thank-you to all the support and encouragement in finding homes.Especially those of you like 05whippet,who do not know me personally, but seem to understand how hard it can be in finding the right homes.

After assisting G.R.W.E. i'm not un-experienced in finding homes, but, when you've bred the litter,so you are responsible for them being here,I find it harder.

I've appreciated all the comments posted, and, reading how other breeder's deal with finding suitable homes. At this moment I'm going to be as close to apologising as I can,I've appreciated your posts Seraphina. In the past I know I've been downright rude to you,but you still joined in and haven't critiscised me personally -    thank-you.

Anyway, here are some pics of last girly........Uggy

in her 'new' home............

:)   Lyd :)

You are welcome :)

Glad your pups all got good homes.

(w00t) I bloody knew it!!!!!

Well done Lyd, hope all 3 of the pups are happy :huggles:  :D

Oh I am so glad, even though I don't know you I have been feeling sad that you weren't going to keep one. Good descision  .

 That's great  I'm so glad you're keeping one  Looking forward to seeing more pics of little Uggy as she grows up

(w00t) Vicky, you know me too well, nah, you just recognised the paw prints on my sofa  I do wash it............occasionaly :- " .

Thanks OEH and EJW,really pleased to be keeping her,Angel was Stu's favourite,Uggy has always been David's favourite and I adore them all and couldn't chose.Would have liked to keep them all,Angel is going to the best home in the world (after mine,Bj's,Vicky's, yours OEH and EJW,Seraphina,Aslan etc.etc. lol) and,not only will I bore you to tears with Uggy pics,Angel's new mum is probably more competant with a camera than me,so she'll post pics of a Hells Angel destroying her home etc.........

I'm so pleased you're keeping Uggy, Lyd! :huggles: :huggles: I think she's    and I adore her name!

My pups love that long doggy thing, glad you recognised it Janimal.Do yours like their long-dog ? It was well worth my while buying that. They also love the toy snakes, haven't introdeuced the pups to my real pythons yet......pups are just too boisterous. They've been introduced to Thumper,my pet rab,but he's bigger than them,so they're not sure wot he is.............they'll learn though  .

Thanks for the comments, you lot know how to cheer me up  (w00t) .

There is a very good reason for my soooooooo approachable attitude,it sorts the wheat from the chaff. For those of you to thick to understand, anyone who gets through my vetting procedure is o.k. to own a pup that I have caused to be born.

If by being rude/difficult/as approachable as a F***ing hurricane, and you are not put off,it tells me you really like/want the pup.So many ppl are very easily put off.

There is only one person  from this board who has successfully proved that they are a good enough home for a whippy pup, and, with a bit of luck will have her.

Lyd

i have only just read this thread from start to finish and i would like to say several things...

i am glad you have found your very beautiful pups homes

i also would like to think that both of my dogs that i got off this forum have nice homes with me....

i would not however approach you for one of your pups!....i find your posts rude and your foul language inappropriate and i do not think your attitude is necessary to find suitable homes for your pups.....its correct that you want your pups to go to good homes (i would not personally breed from my dogs because i could not give them up )so i understand that it must be difficult ...but you chose to breed them and i think you may miss good homes in the future with you attitude

this is not a personal attack because i do not know you but just my opinion!

(w00t) Noo not Uggy whippet. Patches is much nicer (David has better taste than you). I still think that Daisy May suits her best.

Considering that I got a phone call when she was only days old, saying that she was possibly brain damaged and wouldn't live much longer, she's a big and beautiful bouncy lass now. In case people are wondering Lyd had just had them dew clawed and the vet was concerned about her. (The pup not Lyd though............. )

You would never have forgiven yourself if you hadn't kept one Lyd. And of course you do so love a parti don't you.

awwww, lyd im so glad youve kept one.shes lovely    .i do like daisy mae though, much prefer it to uggy  weve got a couple of blue leather sofas like that!

See Lyd someone else with good taste.

Congratulations Lydia!

"Uggy" will do ... reminds me of the great Australian UGH boots - made from sheepskin, rough leather on the outside, wool on the inside. Warm, snuggly with a tough exterior ... bit like you Lyd, ;) and sounds like the way Uggy is too!

Besides there are already a couple of k9 "Daisy's" - Debs has a Daisy May and Juley has a Daisy too if I remember correctly. "Uggy" is original.

Yep (w00t) same taste in blue leather mud covered furniture-couldn't agree more :teehee: .

Seriously,Daisy-May is a lovely name, but when she was born she was Uggy and she responds to Uggy................Daisy-May makes me think of a precious, well behaved little lady whippet..............not the thug that she is.............. :p .
