I did not mean to suggest that pet buyers are not interested in the parents. What i meant is they are not really interested if the sire is a superb mover, or the dam has excelent front. The do want to meet them, but what they are looking for is not easily expressed over the phone.05whippet said:Well I can only go by my own experiences when buying and selling. ) When buying, even just a pet,I was still more interested in other things regarding the pups other than price!! I WAS interested in who both the parents were and if I could see them?A
You are welcomeLydia said:Hi everyone,
A big thank-you to all the support and encouragement in finding homes.Especially those of you like 05whippet,who do not know me personally, but seem to understand how hard it can be in finding the right homes.
After assisting G.R.W.E. i'm not un-experienced in finding homes, but, when you've bred the litter,so you are responsible for them being here,I find it harder.
I've appreciated all the comments posted, and, reading how other breeder's deal with finding suitable homes. At this moment I'm going to be as close to apologising as I can,I've appreciated your posts Seraphina. In the past I know I've been downright rude to you,but you still joined in and haven't critiscised me personally - thank-you.
Anyway, here are some pics of last girly........Uggy
in her 'new' home............

Yes it was a good buy Lydia - the longy doggy  only we are on longy doggy mark 2 now  (first one got de-stuffed before xmas) but Kobi and Oscar love it. :thumbsup:Lydia said:Thanks Oliverpliers,I love the name, glad you do to  .My pups love that long doggy thing, glad you recognised it Janimal.Do yours like their long-dog ? It was well worth my while buying that. They also love the toy snakes, haven't introdeuced the pups to my real pythons yet......pups are just too boisterous. They've been introduced to Thumper,my pet rab,but he's bigger than them,so they're not sure wot he is.............they'll learn though  .

i have only just read this thread from start to finish and i would like to say several things...Lydia said:Thanks for the comments, you lot know how to cheer me up (w00t) .
There is a very good reason for my soooooooo approachable attitude,it sorts the wheat from the chaff. For those of you to thick to understand, anyone who gets through my vetting procedure is o.k. to own a pup that I have caused to be born.
If by being rude/difficult/as approachable as a F***ing hurricane, and you are not put off,it tells me you really like/want the pup.So many ppl are very easily put off.
There is only one person from this board who has successfully proved that they are a good enough home for a whippy pup, and, with a bit of luck will have her.
